This role requires a strong academic background, exceptional research and writing skills, and a thorough understanding of the insurance claims process.Job Description:Duties:Defend insurance coverage and extracurricular matters in litigation.Write comprehensive coverage opinions.Investigate and analyze insurance claims.Handle written discovery and conduct depositions.Draft pleadings and substantive motions.Attend mediations and court appearances.Assist in trial preparation and proceedings.Requirements:Minimum of 5-7 years of litigation experience in insurance coverage and extracurricular matters.Proven experience in writing coverage opinions and investigating insurance claims.Proficiency in handling written discovery and conducting depositions.Skilled in drafting pleadings and substantive motions.Experience in attending mediations and court appearances.Ability to assist effectively in trial settings.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A good academic record is essential.Certifications:An active member in good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:Excellent research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software.
