DESCRIPTION As a part of our Transportation Team, the Inspector will oversee construction projects to ensure conformance with all applicable plans and specifications. We are currently looking for a talented and qualified Structure Inspector. You will be responsible for the inspection of the contractor's methods and workmanship to ensure adherence to current quality standards as it relates to building bridges and highway structures in accordance with plans and specifications. Typical work will be on NCDOT bridge inspection projects mainly focused on the I-95 Corridor however can be assigned throughout the state of North Carolina. Preference will be given to candidates with structural or bridge inspection experience and with candidates possessing active NCDOT certifications. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS •5+ years' experience •HS Diploma or GED •Experience in NCDOT construction inspection, in bridge and/or highway •Computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, TEAMS), SharePlus experience necessary. •NCDOT certifications: Concrete, QMS, E&SC Level 2 at a minimum. The approximate compensation range for this position is 28.00 to 44.00 an hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
