<p><em>This is a temporary role through Magnit Global with one of the world’s leading health insurance companies.</em></p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Infrastructure assignments/projects.</li><li>Serves as a technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions.</li><li>Supports the design, analysis, development, and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions for projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc.</li><li>May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise.</li><li>Responsibilities may include risk assessments, partnering on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems.</li><li>May serve as the primary contact for vendors.</li><li>Technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving.</li><li>Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.</li><li>Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.</li><li>Focuses on providing thought leadership within Infrastructure Engineering but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.</li><li>Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Skills:</p><ul><li>Experience with VMWare technologies</li><li>Experience with backup and disaster recovery concepts and technologies</li><li>Zerto experience is a plus</li><li>Leverage existing infrastructure designs to further improve capacity forecasting, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery solutions for the enterprise.</li><li>Cisco, Dell, HPE, and Lenovo hardware implementation and management experience.</li><li>Coordinate and facilitate meetings with application and system teams to determine dependency management, visualization, and improved operations.</li><li>Capture, document, analyze, and comprehend requirements.</li><li>Design, document, develop, deploy, maintain, and operate capabilities within modeling systems, data analysis tools, data staging systems, and visualization systems.</li><li>Responsibilities may include risk assessments, partnering on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems.</li><li>Design, document, develop, deploy, maintain, and operate bi-directional integration with corporate systems.</li><li>Administer and support tooling and associated methods to support Ecosystem Mapping processes and procedures.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred or related field or 10+ years of experience.</li><li>Advanced VMware software suite experience; 3+ years of experience preferred.</li><li>Working experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI andor Ansible</li><li>Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.</li><li>Analytical, excellent communication, quick learner, self-starter.</li><li>Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions.</li><li>Strong customer service focus.</li><li>Ability to contribute ideas to extend and enhance methodology in a synergistic manner.</li><li>Working knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, and familiarity with firewalls, hubs, routers, switches, DNS, gateways, load balancing and basic network analysis/troubleshooting</li><li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines andor after-hours support.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Schedule Notes:</p><ul><li>Remote position.</li><li>Schedule can be flexible based on the candidate's location.</li><li>This position will require some overnight and/or weekend work based on the project's needs.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, and expectation):</p><ul><li>The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $45.09/hour-$60.12/hour</li><li>Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).</li></ul>
