Position Summary : The Industrial Risk Management Specialist will be responsible to monitor Ramp Up execution through management of key risks and associated mitigation actions. The Risk Management Specialist will focus on both internal and external risk for the A320 Ramp Up and provide a robust management across the value stream of the A320 Organization. Primary Responsibilities: Act as the work package leader for Industrial risk management within the Ramp up Project. Display effective communication with relevant stakeholders, to include other Work Package leaders, to collect and assess the R&O for the A320 VSM and Flight line. Work with supply chain and logistics leaders to assess and understand external risk in order to provide proactive solutions to protect operations, short and long term. Maintain the Risk database of operational risk and select the priorities based on cross view Risk Analysis at VSM level: impact on Rate Readiness, QG forecast, business continuity. Establish Governance for operational risk reviews with senior leaders in the VSM, Logistics and Flight line Organizations. Integrate the Ramp-Up Risk picture within and report out to steering committees - Ramp up, Central VSM etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities: Using effective communication skills to coordinate between functions and Subject Matter Experts to resolve conflicts, issues, and misunderstandings. Act as a liaison between the project team and leadership; clearly outline established and clear milestones required for projected completion. Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or Leadership. Experience: 5-8 years of experience in project management office activities that include proven risk management skills. Licensure/Certifications: PMP Certification or AIB Bronze Level Certifications. Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational follow through Demonstrated, excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills - including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Position will interface with all levels of the Mobile FAL organization - this requires a clear understanding of confidentiality and professionalism. Demonstrated capability in project estimating, task scheduling, scope control, and stakeholder management, cost management Preferred: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders through change Travel Required: Domestic and International - 5% or as required Eligibility: Able to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship. Decision Making, Complexity: Moderate to High Organizational information: Reports to: Head of Competitiveness Supports: A320 Industrial Transformation & PM Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success: Improved efficiency, accountability, and consistency in development, management, and closure of site projects. Nature of Contacts: Involved, negotiation type communication on a daily basis with internal parties only. Physical Requirements: Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings. Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification. Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of personal and office electronic equipment.
