About the Role The Industrial Automation Inside Sales Associate will exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers, have the ability to manage and grow existing accounts, and pursue new business accounts. What You'll Do * Customer interaction via the telephone and email; respond and provide solutions to customers promptly * Provide immediate customer support to meet their needs; quotations, technical research, literature requests, manufacturer interaction, proposals, and expediting * Escalate backorders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations * Provide technical feedback and design solutions to meet customer requirements * Interact with manufacturing partners and build sustainable relationships * Ability to identify problems and provide solutions * Assists Outside Sales in achieving the strategic goals of assigned accounts What You'll Bring * High School Diploma or equivalent * Industrial and/or Automation experience preferred * Infor and SAP experience preferred * Experience in the electrical distribution industry * Strong leadership and organizational skills. * Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence. * Excellent written and oral communication skills.
