BrightPath LLC is seeking a Calm, Reliable, and Consistent Individualized Home Support Specialist (IHSS) to assist an individual in South Saint Paul. Whether you’re looking for a steady part-time role or extra income, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide meaningful support while working within a flexible schedule. About the Role In this role, you’ll help a client who thrives in a peaceful, structured environment. Your primary duties will include assisting with household tasks such as grocery shopping, organizing paperwork, and supporting the client with phone calls and mail. If you have a knack for organization and enjoy bringing a sense of order to daily life, this position will allow you to use those skills while helping someone improve their home and routine. Key Responsibilities Assist with grocery shopping, ensuring the client has what they need for daily life Help organize the home, including sorting paperwork, managing mail, and keeping spaces tidy Support the client in making phone calls, helping them stay on top of appointments or necessary tasks Implement organizational systems to keep track of paperwork and important documents Provide consistent, reliable support for household management and errands Maintain punctuality and consistency, ensuring you are available during the scheduled hours (Tuesdays & Thursdays 12-5pm, with the potential for additional hours on Mondays or Wednesdays) Ensure the client’s needs are met in a calm and supportive manner Qualifications High school diploma or GED 18 years of age or older Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance Ability to pass required background checks Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Calm, patient, and reliable demeanor Punctuality and consistency are essential Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in home support is a plus but not required Why Choose BrightPath?
