Title:Improvement EngineerLocation: Plaquemine, LASalary: $93,800 - $135,000Schedule:5/8 or 9/80Focus:The Improvement Engineer is responsible for leading the plant-level improvement process by gathering and analyzing data, evaluating improvement opportunities, and implementing improvement projects while ensure plant improvements align with business objectives.Improvement Engineer Essential Job Functions: * Works to optimize operations to meet Business and plant goals. * Initiates changes to Plant Operating procedures. * Implements best practices to optimize operations including but not limited to pipeline and tracking tools ownership. * Ensures regulatory and responsible care compliance via operating discipline. * Partners with Plant Process Control Coordination to ensure process control optimization; partners with plant operations to generate process data for improvement opportunities.Improvement Engineer Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering disciplines preferred. * 1+ years of project and/or chemical manufacturing experience. * Prior management of vendor proposals and quotations, contractor bids, and development of desired solutions preferred. * Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work in a team environment. * Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.Strong Careers Grow HereRooted in ourcorporate values, Olin continues to be the global leader in both chemical manufacturing and ammunition.
