Immigration Lawyer - Sacramento, CA Salary Range: $95,000 to $135,000 per year DOE Overview: Nexus HR is looking for an Immigration Lawyer in Sacramento, CA. The preferred candidate should possess a strong grasp of Immigration Law. About the Job The role involves representing clients in immigration cases, preparing legal documentation, and offering legal counsel. Additionally, the position entails collaborating with both individuals and businesses. Duties and Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreementsAdvising clients about their immigration status, inexperienced card, visas, and citizenshipRepresent for clients in immigration matters with government bodies and during legal proceedingsDraft legal paperwork such as applications, petitions, appeals, and waiversInvestigate and evaluate intricate issues in Immigration LawOffer legal guidance and consultations on all facets of immigration lawCommunicate with clients about their immigration casesStay informed about updates in immigration law and advise clients accordinglyFormulate strategies to resolve issues related to immigrationEnsure adherence to pertinent laws and regulationsMaintain current knowledge of immigration law and emerging trends Qualifications :A minimum of three years of experience in the field of immigration lawJuris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school is requiredStrong knowledge and established experience in immigration law, statutes, practices, and proceduresMember of the California State Bar (or another state bar with the ability to obtain registered in-house counsel status in California); must be in good standingCapable of interacting effectively with clients from various backgroundsProficient in managing multiple cases concurrentlyOutstanding abilities in research, writing, and analysisEffective organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsSelf-sufficient with a proven track record of meeting deadlinesAuthorized to work in the US Benefits: DentalVisionMedical401k Paid Leave
