The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment. The Immigration Attorney will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive legal services and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide legal counsel to clients on employment-based immigration matters, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, and EB-1/EB-2/EB-3 petitions.Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications.Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration law and policies.Represent clients in immigration proceedings and liaise with government agencies.Advise clients on immigration-related issues and develop strategies for complex cases.Ensure thorough documentation and maintenance of client files.Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage case workflows efficiently.Participate in client meetings, consultations, and teleconferences to gather information and provide updates.Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with immigration regulations.Attend immigration-related seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.Requirements:1-2 years of experience in employment-based immigration law.Active membership in good standing with a state bar association.Demonstrated experience with employment-based immigration processes and procedures.Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws and regulations.Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High level of professionalism and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one promptly).Certifications:Certification in immigration law from a recognized institution (preferred).Skills:In-depth knowledge of employment-based immigration laws and regulations.Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.Proficiency in client management and maintaining client confidentiality.Effective interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.Competency in using legal research tools and databases.Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
