Responsibilities: This position is primarily working with installing applications in the commercial and industrial sectors for SMSI, particularly supermarket refrigeration installation. --- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair refrigeration line sets (copper) in commercial and industrial settings --- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment --- Assisting coworkers and team members to achieve accurate, timely results --- Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial --- Performing installation of HVAC-related equipment complying with service standards and work instructions as well as customers' requirements --- Understanding of the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating --- Ability to use hand and power tools associated with the HVAC field --- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working condition --- All job positions are safety-sensitive Qualifications: --- Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, tools, and materials related to the HVAC/R industry --- Familiarity with reading and understanding blueprints and schematics --- Ability to travel for job-related assignments --- Physical strength and stamina needed to complete job requirements --- Proven mechanical skills and aptitude --- Ability to differentiate between HVAC/R components and systems --- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills About Company: SMSI is dedicated to providing the highest quality mechanical services performed in an honest, dependable, and efficient manner.
