Your responsibilities will include formulating proposals, assessing costs, and creating detailed material lists. If you hold at least 3 years of experience in HVAC control and estimation, along with remarkable time and project management skills, we urge you to submit your application today. Responsibilities:• Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate the overall cost of construction projects• Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information• Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposals and budgets• Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors• Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs• Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors• Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department Qualifications:• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software• Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field is required• Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed• Exceptional time management, project management, and communication skills are essential• Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical• Automation controls knowledge• Electrical knowledge• Mechanical Knowledge• Read Drawings• Understand specifications Compensation: $30 - $36 hourly About Company: Retrofit Service Company, Inc. is an established and always-growing company that has been in business for over 30 years with a dynamic workforce.
