Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the group contacts and the front desk to provide our groups with an unforgettable experience at our hotel in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You'll be in charge of responding to group inquiries, contacting potential new groups based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the management team with administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills as well as previous group sales experience. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you! Responsibilities:The Hotel Group Coordinator is responsible for coordinating contracts, reservations and rooming lists while representing the Lift Bridge Lodge in a professional manner at all times. Additional responsibilities include:• Manage group and corporate accounts• Processes contracts• Handles room blocks (block and release)• Build links and codes and enter reservations in the system• Responsible for rooming list, final counts, reconciling billing and direct bills Qualifications:What are we looking for?• A minimum of (1) year of experience in e-commerce and/or marketing and/or hotel field required• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook• Excellent customer service skills• Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities• Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes• Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation• Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets• Able to use sound judgement; work independently, with minimal supervision• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Compensation: $20 per hour About Company: The Lift Bridge Lodge is an independently owned hotel on the shores of Lake Superior. We are part of the Ascend Collection by Choice Hotels. This property has 123 rooms and is situated in the heart of Canal Park in Duluth, MN.
