Host Racine Country Club is seeking a Host to join our professional hospitality team. Qualified individuals will be friendly, responsible, motivated, and enthusiastic about providing an exceptional dining experience for club members. This is a part-time position with late afternoon/evening hours on Tuesday through Saturday. Responsibilities Greets members and guest by last name in a polite and friendly manner. Provides schedule and other Club information to members and guests. Manages the reservations and seating for the club’s restaurants. Directs and assists members and guests in locating daily private functions/events. Manages the telephone communication to and from the desk. Greets and seats guests, handles reservations, and prepares and maintains a waiting list during peak periods. Answers the telephone, transfers calls to proper extensions; takes messages for members and staff. Process food take-out orders correctly and efficiently. Works on special assignments as assigned. Control traffic flow in lobby area and hallway. Maintain appearance of reception area Other duties as needed (we value teamwork) Qualifications Previous experience working in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the dining area Understands and can communicate with staff, members, and guest in a professional & warm manner. Have an ambition to learn, a sense of urgency, and an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. Seeking candidates that have a true passion for serving customers and exceeding their expectations. Ability to prioritize duties and be proficient in accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously with a good sense of timing.
