Join us as a Hospitality Host/Hostess at our establishment in Fairport, NY, where you will: • Extend a Warm Welcome - prepare the dining area promptly for service, maintain a clean and appealing workspace throughout the day, handle duties such as room service and cashier tasks. *• Embrace the Host/Hostess Role - manage reservations, seat guests, offer beverages, give recommendations, address inquiries, remember names, greet guests with a smile, and even provide a weather update; it's all part of the role! • Prioritize Safety & Security - adhere strictly to the hotel's safety and security protocols, proactively identify any issues, and promptly communicate concerns to the management team. Responsibilities:• Warm and welcoming personality to greet each guest that arrives at the host stand.• Ability to manage the floor plan by utilizing Resy Reservation system.• Assist clearing tables when needed.• Flexible work schedule- ability to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings weekends and holidays.• Works well under high demands. Qualifications:• A high school education or equivalent preferred and prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred.• Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours as needed. Light work -- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, ability to multi task.• Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. • Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high pressure situations, and must possess the ability to multi-task on a regular basis.
