Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to lead and develop a new service line at our 49-bed healthcare facility. You will have the unique opportunity to shape and grow a critical department, serving a community with substantial patient demand and limited local competition. This is an ideal position for someone looking to make a significant impact in healthcare delivery within a supportive community. Practice Details: Join a non-trauma, 49-bed facility serving the surrounding community Collaborative arrangements with nearby facilities for additional patient management and referral opportunities You will have the opportunity to shape the Oncology practice and spearhead the service line Provide outpatient care Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 15 to 18 patients per day Financials & Benefits: Annual base salary with a 4-year guarantee Performance bonuses and sign-on bonuses are available Relocation assistance of up to $15,000 Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage, PTO, and CME allowance as well as student loan assistance provided Location: Brookhaven offers a strong sense of community and numerous local events, making it an inviting place for families and history enthusiasts Located near the Homochitto National Forest, residents enjoy easy access to outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, and camping, ideal for nature lovers and active lifestyles Brookhaven is an hour s drive from Jackson offering easy proximity to the larger city s amenities and experiences
