PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE-HEALTH DEPARTMENT The City of Watertown is excited to announce an opening in our Public Health Department. Join our dynamic team as a Public Health Nurse in the City of Watertown at a level two public health department . This position will have responsibilities in all public health programs with a primary focus on community, family, and maternal child health. As a Public Health Nurse, you will exercise considerable initiative and sound judgment to contribute to the identification of potential health needs, conduct comprehensive client assessments, and advocate for vulnerable individuals and populations. Requirements: Public Health Nurse II will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program. Current nursing license with the State of Wisconsin is required and must be maintained for the duration of employment. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Benefits package includes but is not limited to: paid vacation, sick, medical, dental, vision, Income Continuation Insurance, Wisconsin retirement system, flex spending, deferred compensation and stable working hours. This is a full-time position with hours Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30 pm, occasional evening and weekends as needed.
