Market Place Fresh Foods is seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time Grocery Store Manager to lead our team at our La Grande, OR location. As a cornerstone of the community and a provider of high-quality fresh foods, including our renowned smoked products and diverse Bistro offerings, we are committed to excellence in both product and service. This role offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $55,000 depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package , including vacation time, a 15% discount on store purchases, and free meals during shifts of 6½ hours or more. GET TO KNOW THIS DYNAMIC ROLE Schedule: Full-time with varying hours based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential. As our Grocery Store Manager, you will begin your day with a team briefing, setting objectives and outlining priorities. You will manage the grocery department, ensuring optimal stock levels and well-organized displays. Your responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, coordinating with suppliers, and addressing any operational challenges. Born to lead, you will lead and develop your team, focusing on training and fostering a high standard of customer service. Your effective leadership will ensure smooth daily operations and a positive shopping experience for our customers.
