Preferred Qualifications * Effective communication. * Use of measuring equipment, * Safe handling of chemicals. * Capable of training new technicians and ability to function effectively in a team environment. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. This off-shift position will be located in Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operation, and will Inspects for low angle grain boundary data by use of real time image device. Dispositions and reworks castings according to customer requirements (grade 3 only). Maps grain indications (grade 3 only). Inputs inspection data into computerized traceability system. Prepares area on castings for inspection. Uses phosphoric acid under electrolysis. Stamps castings where applicable (grade 3 only). Prepares new acid solutions to customer specifications. Complies with all EHS rules required for the position. Performs other duties as assigned.
