These include: Supervising ground investigation teams through projects. Soil logging. Carrying out in: situ testing of ground, permeability tests and ground water monitoring. Preparing soil samples for testing, Inputting field data. Trail pitting. To be considered for the Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position you should have an understanding of the above tasks, perhaps from education or prior experience. A degree in geology, physical geography or a similar subject and a full UK driving licence is essential. You should be keen to learn and work within a team in demanding environments, and have a full right to work in the UK.
