This legacy continues with a portfolio of infectious disease and hospital products. This portfolio delivered nearly $4B to the organization in 2023.We are seeking a leader to take the position of the Global Brand Leader Antibiotics, who will be responsible for maximization of the inline Antibiotics and Antifungal portfolio, inclusive of priority brands as well as a portfolio of legacy antibiotic and antifungal agents. Responsibilities include collaborating closely across divisions and functions to align on strategic and operational planning and execution by representing Human Health Division and providing commercial perspectives through membership of the Product Development Teams (PDT), Value Chain Management Teams (VCMT) and Gram-Negative Value & Implementation Team (V&I)This leader will be responsible for overseeing critical launches of two leading targets in China. In addition to the inline antibiotics, this role will be responsible for providing commercial input for several early pipeline assets. Finally, this GBL will have the important responsibility of partnering cross divisionally to shape the future of antibiotics at our company.Specific Responsibilities Include:Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute a commercial strategy for the Antibiotics portfolio, working across the enterprise to drive growth. Manage the lifecycle of in-line products and evaluate late lifecycle opportunitiesCross-functional collaboration: foster strong collaboration with global cross-functional /divisional teams, including Global Medical our Manufacturing Division, our Research & Development Division, Market Access and Policy, Global promotions, L&D, HHDDA. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environmentMarket Engagement: Impactfully engaging with markets and working closely with key markets and Regional Commercial Leads to track and drive product performance.Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated on the complex antibiotic landscape including competitor activities, pricing, access and policy dynamics. Engage policy team to identify relevant policy levers to support portfolio access.Leadership and Mentoring: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring professional development opportunities within the team. Foster a high-performing team and culture of inclusivity. Lead by example, setting expectations, and promoting a positive work environmentWork closely with Early Development Commercial Leads to ensure commercial insights are leveraged in the development of early assetsMaintain strong level of collaboration with our Manufacturing Division colleagues to inform short and long-term supply chain decisions Education: Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education: Advanced Degree (MBA) Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of 10 years combined marketing, sales, marketing support or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
