The ideal candidate will have extensive trial experience and a proven track record in handling complex general liability matters, including premises liability, motor vehicle cases, class action litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the firm's general liability practice, providing strategic direction and mentorship to junior attorneys.Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients.Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.Requirements:JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.7+ years of litigation experience, with a significant focus on general liability matters.Proven track record of successful trial outcomes.Experience in handling premises liability, motor vehicle cases, class action litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.Strong business development skills and a portable book of business preferred.Exceptional leadership, management, and client relationship skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Commitment to professional excellence and integrity.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Active license in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar.Skills:Extensive trial experience in general liability matters.Strategic planning and case management expertise.Legal research and writing proficiency.Business development and client retention skills.Leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration abilities. This Pennsylvania-based law firm has 6 offices which concentrate on practice groups such as commercial litigation, construction, general litigation, and workers' compensation. The firm staffs a fairly large group of skilled lawyers, as well as a skilled administrative team. This legal practice also publishes an in-house legal periodical.
