The role involves handling file review, legal analysis, extensive research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions. Duties:Conduct thorough file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action in general liability cases.Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.Meet an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.Regularly represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions.Draft and respond to discovery requests promptly and effectively.Collaborate in retaining expert witnesses and coordinate their involvement in cases.Prepare diligently for trials, including trial attendance.Some travel may be required for case-related activities. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida; admission in other states is advantageous.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in General Liability; experience in other practice areas is a plus.Proven superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong research abilities and exceptional written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to self-manage, and collaborate effectively within a team.Prompt responsiveness to email and phone inquiries.Excellent client service skills and professional telephone manner. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school. Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation support software.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
