Description:
Job Description: Plan and perform lapping, assembly, polishing and lasering operations to make standard gage rods to very tight tolerances. Operate bench lathe, special built lapping machine, arbor press, buffing wheels and lasering machines. Setup special dial indicator height gage and check work. Obtain final result by peening rod to lengthen and lapping to reduce size. May be required to operate radius grinder to rough and finish grind radius on a variety of end measuring rods. Perform other miscellaneous duties as instructed and directed. Oil and clean machines and maintain work area. R eport unusual conditions to supervisor. Powered by JazzHR
