Jovie Seattle, WA, USA Summary: A bit about us : Hello! We are a tech-savvy, outdoors-loving family seeking a reliable and self-starting nanny to care for our baby (born May 2024). We both work from home and need someone who can manage the day-to-day with minimal supervision while being flexible and attentive to our child’s needs. Both parents work from home, with dedicated office spaces. Our household includes two super friendly and people-loving cats named Joe (as in Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Sanus. We value reliability, autonomy, and a good connection with our nanny. We have a strong interest in tech, movies, and snow sports and love being by the lake. We believe in continuous learning and appreciate open communication and feedback. If you believe you are a great match for our family and can create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our baby, we would love to hear from you! A bit about you : You are a reliable, attentive, empathetic, and communicative caregiver with a good personality fit for a tech-savvy family who loves to learn new things. You should have a good understanding of baby care, including baby milestones, cooking baby food, and eventually introducing solids. A love for cats is a must, and it would be great if you could speak another language (though this is not a requirement). Experienced in working with multiples, as there is a possibility this position might become a nanny-share. Job Duties : Full-time care for our baby, following his routine (feedings, naps, diapers, play, etc.). Prepare baby food and eventually solids. Cook meals for the family (if possible). Perform household duties such as starting laundry. Take the baby for walks and engage him in age-appropriate activities. Ensure a safe environment, especially with a very busy road nearby. Start Date: As soon as the right fit nanny can start Location: Seattle, 98126 Position Highlights : Excellent pay package. Fantastic city location- very close to Alki Beach. Qualifications : Multiple years of experience with infant care and household management. CPR and First Aid certification. Vaccinated against COVID-19. Reliable and a self-starter. Must love and be comfortable with cats. Glowing references from recent nanny positions. Set yourself apart : Ability to speak another language. Interest in tech, self-help/continuous learning, and outdoor activities. Schedule: M-F 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Pay: $32-33 an hour **All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired. *Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time.
