The ideal candidate will be admitted to the New York Bar and have a strong background in handling foreclosure litigation matters.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of contested foreclosure matters from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials related to foreclosure actions.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communication.Review and analyze loan documents, mortgage agreements, and foreclosure proceedings.Negotiate settlements and modifications with opposing counsel and clients.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding foreclosure laws and procedures.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.2+ years of experience specifically in contested foreclosure litigation.Strong understanding of New York foreclosure laws, procedures, and court rules.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Experience with drafting legal documents and pleadings.Negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Courtroom experience and confidence in representing clients in judicial proceedings.Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.
