The role develops and builds lasting relationships with customers and prospects to retain accounts and drive future sales growth. Additionally, the Fleet Sales Manager plans and is responsible for achieving overall fleet sales objectives set forth by the Fuel department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Designs and executes overarching fleet sales strategies and focused tactics that achieve departmental goals.Develops relationships and a sales lead pipeline with new and existing accounts. Conducts sales calls, coordinates promotional work with internal and external resources, and tracks sales activities on all accounts including large, complex businesses or new territories.Develops and manages strong vendor relationships to drive an exceptional end-to-end experience.Proposes and executes policies and programs to achieve maximum sales potential.Compiles & interprets data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing into meaningful insights for Leadership. Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, and members of the business community to deliver strong customer service.Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments to design, train, and execute various programs.Excellent knowledge of the Companys industry, financial card services, and trends impacting the business.Measures individual client performance and identifies & rectifies customers who are not supporting the program.
