Finance AssistantYoung Chevrolet is seeking a professional and motivated Finance Assistant to support us in helping our finance and sales departments. As a leading dealership, we continue to provide the best purchasing experience, and we require you to accompany us and join our growing successful family!The Finance Assistant is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the submission and funding of the vehicle sales and financial transactions. The Finance Assistant must possess a strong focus on compliance requirements and attention to detail to recorded documentation. This individual's primary purpose is to organize, verify, correct, and remit vehicle agreements to financial institutions and the company's centralized accounting department.Employee Compensation Package: Paid time off and holiday pay Company paid life insurance. Employee Discounts Job functions include but not limited to: Supports with rectifying documentation errors related to agreements, rebates, trades, incentives, and warranties associated with the new vehicle purchase. Administers the funding documentation for the dealership's sales and finance departments. The Finance Assistant serves as the liaison between the dealership's finance department, banking institutions and customers. Helps to resolve inconsistencies on each vehicle contract for the accounting and title departments. Participates in monthly closing activities, including but not limited to any reconciliations with sales, finance, service, accounting, and/or title departments. Ensures all vehicles' transactions are precisely recorded to confirm the accurate sales reporting and posting for corporate and centralized accounting. Employee Prerequisites: Onboarding process completed within days of applying! Knowledge of automotive accounting and finance is a required. Pay based on experience. Flexible schedule Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Capability to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, communicate effectively with employees, managers, customers and affiliates.
