Practice Area: Divorce Law,Adoption Law,Family Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Riverside, CA, is seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney to represent clients in various family law matters and ensure the effective and efficient resolution of cases through litigation and negotiation.Duties:Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare case strategies.Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.Manage case files, including organizing documents, maintaining deadlines, and docketing.Perform court filings and ensure compliance with procedural rules.Provide oral advocacy in court proceedings and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Maintain communication with clients to provide updates and advice on case progress.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.Proven experience in family law practice.Strong understanding of family law statutes, regulations, and court procedures.Exceptional legal research and writing skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and negotiations.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Preferred Certifications:Certification or specialization in Family Law by the California State Bar or other relevant accrediting bodies.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Case management and organization.Courtroom advocacy and negotiation.Written and verbal communication.Client counseling and relationship management.
