This position involves managing a range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, protective orders, and adoptions. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing client-centered legal services, offering strategic solutions, and collaborating with a skilled support team to achieve the best outcomes for clients.Duties:Litigate family law cases, including contentious hearings when negotiations are not successful.Develop client-focused strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes based on case facts.Create innovative legal solutions to enhance clients' positions during family law proceedings.Negotiate thoughtful settlements, seeking to avoid adversarial zero-sum outcomes.Provide direct counsel to clients, advising them on best practices to minimize stress and mitigate risk.Work collaboratively with the legal team to optimize results for clients.Set realistic expectations for clients, considering the facts and their stated goals.Requirements:Active license with the Texas Bar Association.Prior experience handling family law cases, including divorce, SAPCRs (Suits Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship), protective orders, and adoptions.Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.Strong collaboration skills, with a focus on empathy, creativity, and organization.High energy, positivity, and a proactive approach to legal practice.Desire to help clients through emotional legal processes with care and assertiveness.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Texas.Skills:Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, both in and out of court.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to develop strategic legal approaches and innovative solutions.Exceptional client communication and relationship-building skills.Benefits:Health insurance (75% covered by the firm).Paid time off (PTO).Modern, relaxed office environment.Half-day Fridays.Retirement plan in development.Location:Fort Worth, TX (in-person position).This full-time role offers a supportive team atmosphere and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients dealing with family law challenges.
