The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in legal practice or have worked as a law clerk, with strong academic credentials, writing abilities, and an understanding of business and financial concepts. This role offers competitive base salary with additional incentive-based pay opportunities, along with excellent benefits.Location:Reno, NVDuties:Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and property division matters.Prepare and draft legal documents, motions, and agreements related to family law cases.Appear in court to advocate on behalf of clients.Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to move cases efficiently through the legal process.Utilize strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple cases.Provide exceptional client service and maintain confidentiality.Requirements:3-5 years of experience practicing law or equivalent experience as a law clerk.Strong courtroom experience and willingness to regularly appear in court.Excellent academic background and writing skills.Understanding of numbers, business concepts, and financial principles.Self-motivated and driven by excellence and competition.Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.Skills:Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to build client relationships and provide compassionate legal representation.Proficiency in legal software and basic computer skills.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Safe Harbor contribution of 3% of gross salary into a 401K plan.Continuing Legal Education (CLE) expense coverage.State Bar and other professional membership fees.Gym membership.12 legal holidays off plus PTO at your discretion.
