We offer a competitive compensation package. Essential Duties: The employee’s essential duties are listed below. When necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and P1 Service expects the incumbent to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems. Install, repair and maintain all types of major locks, door closures, and panic hardware systems in accordance with work orders and instructions. Open locks by use of lock picking tools, dismantling or other methods; repair locks by replacement of broken parts; adjust or re-combinate locks to the master / sub-master system in use. Assist in determining methods to be used, including but not limited to key cutting and duplication, adjusting or changing key combinations and re-combinating any lock within the current Hospital system; update written records as required. Perform periodic maintenance and repair on door closure systems, including but not limited key card systems and electromagnetic systems. Utilize key cutting machines, drills, saws, buffers and grinders, key gauges and locksmith tools. Work on automatic door systems, including perform testing and repairs of fire doors. Maintains records of materials used on jobs and in stock. Maintain employee time records in CMMS. Performs related work as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred: Technical/Professional Training/Degree, or Trade Certificate. Must have ability to interpret blue prints, estimating jobs and familiar with hand tools & equipment associated with the trades. Skills/Experience: 3-5 years minimum of work knowledge of hardware and electronic locking systems acquired through a minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of locking systems and 1 year of related experience in one or more of the skilled crafts such as mechanical or electrical. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check. Must be able to meet P1 Group qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle. Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles. Upon offer of position you are required to provide the following: Medical records showing up-to-date tuberculosis (TB) test or authorization for new TB testing. Medical records showing up-to-date vaccinations or proof of immunity regarding the vaccination list below. If no immunity, then authorization for new vaccinations or a signed declination is required regarding the vaccination list below. Vaccinations are measles, mumps, rubella (combined MMR), chickenpox (Varicella), tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis (Tdap), and Hepatitis B. Annual vaccination for influenza (flu) is required during flu season or medical proof of flu vaccine allergy and signed declination.
