Granite Summit Facilities Tech Team Member Summary: Pali Mountain is seeking facility/Tech staff to help maintain our beautiful site. We operate as a summer camp, outdoor education facility, and retreat center. Facilities staff play an integral part in keeping Pali operating and safe for our guests. Responsibilities include Technology based services in the form of Low voltage installs, WiFi infrastructure maintenance/installation, basic computer troubleshooting, etc. The above description of duties are examples and may go beyond these and include duties as assigned. Pali has guests and operates 365 days a year, this includes inclement weather. Facilities staff will help in snow removal.Pali facilities staff have access to tools for work as well as on-site transportation to get around the site and access to the shop during work hours. Duties are dependent on program needs as well as issues that come up. Pali serves guests of all ages. Projects and maintenance occur while guests are on-site, so safety is paramount. Must be 18yrs or older to apply. Experience is a must. Ideal Candidate(s) have: Reliable Transportation - Pali Operates year RoundExperience in a trade and general maintenanceAbility to be self-motivated and solution oriented.Physically able to lift 50lbs, walk-up three flights of stairs, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, work outdoors in inclement weather, use hand tools such as shovels, ability to use power toolsCustomer focused mind-setAbility to work in a teamStrong work ethic Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Skills: Maintenance Tech team members are responsible for responding to all maintenance Tech requests as instructed or assigned including the following but not limited to, Maintenance and Installation of site wide WiFi system under supervision and proper direction. Repair and upgrade of existing WiFi systems and controls Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment. Termination of low voltage wiring. Basic knowledge of 120v wiring and installation in residential and commercial applications. Using employer supplied vehicles for travel to pick up supplies and parts as needed. Trenching and installation of underground conduit for fiber and Cat lines. Assisting contractors, e.g. electricians and fiber installers, as required. Ability to move, setup and be comfortable on ladders of varying heights up to 20'. Ability to operate or learn to operate a boom lift up to heights of 60'. Basic interior patch and paint as needed due to equipment changes/ upgrades. Clean up job site and equipment by means of vacuum, mop, broom, as well as other types of cleaning devices or equipment Ensures on-site and off-site housing service requests are responded to promptly and professionally. Complies with all Company practices, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state and federal laws. Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Site Manager to items that need repaired or replaced. Ability to use standard maintenance equipment. Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, computer, fax machine, printers and copiers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Salary and Benefits: $20-$24hr.
