Position Title: Event Assistant Location: Washington, DC Company: Percepta House Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Event Manager/Director of Events Position Overview: The Event Assistant will support the Event Manager and event planning team in organizing and executing various events, including corporate functions, weddings, conferences, and other special occasions. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of events from concept to completion. Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations. Communicate with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure all event details are accurately conveyed and executed. Assist in the creation of event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage. Support onsite event execution, including setup, registration, and teardown. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and managing event-related correspondence. Assist in post-event evaluations and reporting. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees. Qualifications: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of event management software is a plus. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
