Seeking an Estimator with concrete experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hyattsville, MD. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Salary is between $95,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience) Responsibilities: Conducting project walkthroughs with clients and meticulously intake project scope details Preparing takeoffs from plan sets and estimating the cost of jobs Presenting detailed bids (including written scope of work) for submission Attending inspections (city or public works) as required Coordinating with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, roadblocks, and alterations in project scopes Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 5+ years of in-field masonry and concrete experience (in commercial sector) 5+ years of concrete estimating experience including take off Experience with Plan Swift, Bluebeam and Excel Expert knowledge of the trade preferred, including block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and blueprints.
