This role is pivotal in our construction operations as you will be responsible for developing comprehensive, accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects. Your expertise in project estimation, cost management and construction estimating will ensure that we deliver high-quality, cost-effective projects that meet our clients' expectations. You will also be involved in project bidding, budgeting, construction management, project management, contract management, procurement, scheduling and blueprint reading. Great Benefits Great Company CultureJob DetailsResponsibilities:1. Develop thorough, detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects.2. Participate actively in project bidding, ensuring all bids are accurate, competitive and timely.3. Manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for and budget constraints are adhered to.4. Oversee construction management activities, coordinating with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.5. Manage contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and any contractual issues are resolved promptly and effectively.6. Oversee procurement activities, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are procured on time and at the best possible price.7. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with other team members to ensure all project milestones are met.8. Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring all project specifications are accurately reflected in cost estimates and project plans.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.3. Proven experience in project estimation, cost management, construction estimating, project bidding, budgeting, construction management, project management, contract management, procurement, scheduling and blueprint reading.4. Exceptional numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.5. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and clients.7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve contractual and project-related issues effectively and efficiently.8. Proficiency in relevant software, including MS Project, Excel and estimating software.9.
