The ideal candidate should possess at least 5+ years of relevant experience and be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or the Commonwealth of Virginia.Duties:Administer probate estates, ensuring compliance with all necessary filings and documentation the probate court requires.Draft basic and sophisticated estate planning documents, incorporating estate and income tax planning, including irrevocable trusts.Lead in-person client meetings, demonstrating excellent client relationship skills.Provide legal advice and guidance on estate planning and administration matters.Stay informed about changes in estate planning laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as an Estate Planning and Administration Attorney.Licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or the Commonwealth of Virginia.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or the Commonwealth of Virginia.Skills:Proficient in administering probate estates and preparing required filings.Strong drafting skills for a variety of estate planning documents.Demonstrated client relationship skills with the ability to lead in-person meetings.Thorough understanding of estate and income tax planning, including irrevocable trusts.Job Location:Washington, DC With offices in Washington D.C., Maryland, New York, and Virginia, this law firm is known for its award winning representation of clients.
