About the Opportunity The ESO Planning Solution Architect is responsible for providing the strategic vision for the planning portfolio of technical products to achieve successful business outcomes. This role will build partnerships with business Chief Product Officers (CPOs), System stakeholders, ERP leadership, customers, and appropriate governance groups to ensure alignment of the ERP Technical strategic vision and roadmap with the functional (Finance, HR, and Procurement) strategies and roadmaps for the products. We are seeking a talented and experienced Planning Solution Architect proficient in Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, and Anaplan. This key role will be instrumental in designing and implementing comprehensive planning solutions that align with the evolving needs of our business. As the ESO Planning Solution Architect you will lead the strategic design and implementation of planning solutions, leveraging your expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, and Anaplan. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis processes, along with a proven track record in architecting solutions across multiple platforms. What You Will Do: * Design, architect, and implement scalable and efficient planning solutions using Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, and Anaplan. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into effective planning models. * Customize and optimize planning models to meet specific business needs, ensuring flexibility and accuracy. * Lead integration efforts between Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Anaplan, and other relevant systems. * Provide strategic guidance on planning best practices and methodologies across platforms. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment with organizational goals. * Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators on planning solution functionalities. * Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and best practices within Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, and Anaplan. Competencies: * Proven experience as a Planning Solution Architect with expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, and Anaplan. * Deep understanding of financial planning and analysis processes. * Strong technical skills in configuring and customizing planning solutions. * Experience with integration tools and methodologies across platforms. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Certifications in Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, and Anaplan. * Familiarity with other financial planning tools and systems. * Experience in leading cross-functional planning solution projects. Qualifications: * A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master’s degree is preferred * Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a demanding environment, including experience in setting the strategic direction, being accountable for and delivering strategic objectives, aligning programs with the organization's strategic direction, and focusing on continuous improvement efforts within a complex IT organization. * Demonstrates an Agile mindset and experience in building, managing, and supporting Agile teams. * Expertise in product management, development, and use of product roadmaps and product visions * Extensive strategy development and execution experience. * Extensive background in business domain operations, process improvement, and process redesign. * Extensive background in technology delivery, application development, cloud solutions, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills; ability to speak persuasively, effectively, and with diplomacy across a wide group of people and audiences including technical staff, peers, as well as senior management, and oversight bodies * Learning mindset geared toward innovation and creativity for applying technology capabilities in new ways, necessary for both the delivery of effective technology and business solutions * Ability to effectively navigate and achieve results on cross-district/System level initiatives * Skilled listener and observer who can exert influence and build trust; ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team of professionals through a period of dynamic change Other Requirements and Considerations: * Candidates should review the Bank’s Employee Code of Conduct to ensure compliance with conflict of interest rules and personal investment restrictions. * If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please notify XXXX@rich.frb.org. * Employees who work at and/or visit another Federal Reserve entity or outside business as part of their job duties are required to comply with any onsite safety and health protocols of those organizations (including, but not limited to, requirements to vaccinate or test, mask, social distance, etc.). * Sponsorship is not available for this role. Selected candidate is subject to special background check procedures. * The hiring range of the Architect – IT App - Advanced is $123,700 – $154,600 annually. * Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
