American Income Life: AO is looking for a Recruiter to join our team in our Burnaby office. The Recruiter is responsible for creating strategic staffing approaches to attract a wide pool of qualified talent for the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong social and leadership skills, experienced negotiating strategies and excellent organizational abilities. He/she should be familiar with developing recruitment marketing strategies that effectively attract and retain top talent. Principal Accountabilities: Partnering with owner to determine staffing needs Screening resumes Performing Zoom and phone interviews with candidates Administering appropriate company backssments Performing reference and background checks Making recommendations to managers Coordinating interviews with potential hires Following up on the interview process status Maintaining relationships with managers to ensure staffing goals are achieved Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and provincial laws regarding employment practices Completing timely reports on hiring activity Knowledge and Skills: Proven work experience as a Recruiter/Hiring manager Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews, structured, competency based, behavioural etc. Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks etc. ) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong decision-making skills About American Income Life: AO : American Income Life: AO is a Insurance organization dedicated to to help working class families achieve financial protection from adverse circumstances.
