Description:
Mercedes-Benz Research and Development North America, Inc.'s Redford, Michigan office is looking for a graduate or undergraduate level student in the eDrive Software department to support ongoing projects. This 3 months internship will focus on tasks that includes implementation, configuration, documentation and proof of concept of technical requirements. Job Responsibilities: Support the bring up and debugging of an evaluation board Create a code generator which will parse 1 or more arxml files and generate a C-code for a communication middleware Develop test cases and test protocol for all implemented functionalities Document configuration and implementation concept Ensure updated documentation of activities Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree in the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering 0-3 years of experience Programming knowledge in Python and C Basic Understanding of uController architecture Basic understanding of the following communication protocol: CAN Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape) Good communication skills Analytical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge about eDrive Software development systems Knowledge about Embedded Systems and Software development Benefits/Perks:*PTO*Sick TimePDN-9c604871-418a-4c86-8f37-553c031b3457
