About the Role: We are seeking a Technical Operations Shift Engineer to provide direct on-floor support for the manufacture of sterile antibiotic products. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, quality, and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues, observe processes, and ensure smooth operations. This role involves shift work and technical investigations, as well as contributing to process and equipment safety reviews. Responsibilities: Provide technical support for vaccine, biologic, and sterile manufacturing processes Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and write reports Support change control implementation Learn new processes and procedures Conduct technical investigations and analyses Recommend and implement corrective and preventative actions Write, review, and improve procedures for equipment and processes Contribute to process and equipment safety reviews. Education Qualification: B.S. or M.S. degree in biology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, biological systems engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, integrated science, or related disciplines Required Skills: Excellent academic record Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Hands-on approach to problem-solving Ability to examine issues from diverse perspectives Enthusiasm, confidence, and initiative-taking ability Strong desire to succeed and help others succeed Preferred Experiences: - Experience working in a cGMP environment Work, co-op, or internship experience in industry Comments/Special Instructions: Beta Lactam required. Technically sound candidates willing to troubleshoot on the floor in a manufacturing environment are preferred. The Technical Operations Shift Engineer will work directly on the production floor, assisting with the manufacture of sterile antibiotic products. The role involves troubleshooting, observing processes, and addressing issues to minimize impact and restore normalcy.
