Job Description Title: Engineering Coordinator Reports to: Engineering Manager Job Summary: We are currently seeking an Engineering coordinator to join our team. While experience with Solidworks is preferred, it is not required. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a willingness to learn and contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply, as the ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing various administrative tasks to support our team and ensure smooth operations. Required Skills/Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in administration or related field is a plus. Experience using computer systems, including MS office Experience with Solidworks is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and utilize Solidworks skills as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the engineering team within the company, including but not limited to: Help with New Product development. Help with new product introductions Help with data entry of materials. Help with procurement of data needed for product support Scan documentation as needed. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned. Utilize Solidworks skills to support engineering when necessary, such as basic drafting (training provided as needed) Self-Checks own work for completeness, accuracy, and meeting standards. Keeps engineering manager informed of all activity, including timely preparation of required reports. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continue improvement. Physical Activity for this position: Essential for job function requires the ability to (with or without reasonable accommodations): Balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and reaches to work overhead. Pushes and pulls materials, fingers and grasps parts and components. Tolerates loud noise. Sits and stands for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks. Operates a computer extensively daily. Demonstrates manual dexterity. Performs visual inspections. Requires visual acuity to access details (I.e., office equipment, email, invoices, etc.) Requires communication skills so ideas and instructions are clearly and/or quickly understood. Requires the ability to distinguish between speech, machinery, and other sounds to understand instructions and/or directions.
