The successful candidate will work with small groups of students to teach EMT skills and prepare the students for national testing.Each position is offered on a per class basis and employment is dependent upon available classes and the number of enrollments.The work schedule for this position may include working evenings and weekends.Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist students by providing instructional tutoring and assistance with basic concepts and skills * Prepare students for NREMT psychomotor exams * Clean, sanitize, maintain and restock equipment; report to Laboratory Supervisor * Provide student encouragement and personal support in the areas of student self-confidence and study habits * Establish effective and cooperative relationships with diverse student and employee populations Job Requirements: * Current EMT certification * Current CPR certification at the BLS Healthcare provider level Preferred: * Experience with Pima Community College EMT100 coursework * Tutoring experience
