Practice Area: Litigation - Labor & Employment, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 9 Years, A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel to manage and litigate a diverse array of employment-related cases, providing strategic counsel and representation to employers.Job Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide range of employment-related claims and agency charges.Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, contracts, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.Preference for experience with Class Action and PAGA cases.Supervise and mentor associates and paralegals, delegating assignments and providing constructive feedback.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, with outstanding academic credentials.Current membership in the California Bar in good standing.9+ years of progressive experience in employment litigation, with significant first-chair trial experience.Comprehensive understanding of current state and federal agency procedures related to employment law.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.Preferred Skills:Experience managing complex litigation cases from inception through trial.Demonstrated success in negotiating favorable settlements and arbitration awards.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California Bar.Skills:Litigation strategy and case management.Employment law expertise.Supervisory and mentorship capabilities.Negotiation and dispute resolution.Legal research and writing proficiency.Client relationship management.
