Practice Area: Litigation - Labor & Employment, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in San Diego is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad spectrum of employment-related claims. The ideal candidate will also provide counsel to employers on various employment law matters and have a strong understanding of agency procedures.Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing diverse employment-related claims and agency charges.Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.1-3 years of experience in employment law; prior employment litigation experience strongly preferred.Familiarity with current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Effective organizational, time management, and project management abilities.Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.Preferred Skills:Experience with class action and/or PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) litigation is advantageous.Background in advising employers on compliance with employment laws and regulations.Benefits:Competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with employer contribution.Generous paid time off and parental leave policies.Opportunities for professional development and continuing legal education.Supportive and collaborative work environment fostering growth and career advancement.
