The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters, represent clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums, and contribute to the firm's expansion through networking and expertise.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and whistleblower claims.Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.Collaborate with support staff in developing effective and efficient litigation strategies.Oversee case-related resources and timelines to ensure efficient progression of cases.Foster meaningful client relationships by providing regular updates and empathetic guidance.Stay updated with developments in employment law, industry trends, and precedents to inform case strategies.Contribute to firm growth by identifying potential opportunities and participating in networking events.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the New Jersey Bar, in good standing; admissions to New York or Pennsylvania Bars are a plus.4-7 years of litigation experience, including at least 2 years focused on employment law.Proficiency in independently managing all stages of litigation, from initiation to resolution.Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Proficiency in legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.Certifications and Skills:Demonstrated proficiency in independently managing litigation matters.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
