Practice Area: ERISA - General,ERISA/Executive Compensation Transactions & Compliance, Job Type: Partner, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, A law firm is seeking an Employee Benefits And Executive Compensation Partner with the following responsibilities, requirements, and benefits:Job Overview:The Employee Benefits And Executive Compensation Partner will be crucial in counseling clients on various employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including qualified retirement plans, ERISA requirements, healthcare and welfare plans, and executive compensation agreements. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop and lead an Employee Benefits Executive Compensation group within the Firm.Duties:Counsel clients on all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation matters.Advise on designing and implementing qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, pension plans, profit-sharing plans, and ESOPs.Ensure legal compliance of employee retirement plans with ERISA requirements.Navigate controlled group rules and analysis for employee benefits plans.Structure and administer healthcare, welfare, and cafeteria plans in compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, and FMLA.Design and implement various executive compensation plans and agreements.Address employee benefits and executive compensation issues during mergers and acquisitions.Handle administrative and operational issues associated with benefit plans.Requirements:Significant experience in counseling clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.Strong understanding of qualified retirement plans, ERISA requirements, and healthcare regulations.Exceptional leadership and communication skills.Degree or background in tax, finance, or business preferred.Portable book of business required.Currently licensed in Illinois or eligible to waive in or sit for the IL Bar exam.Benefits:Opportunity to develop and lead an employee benefits and executive compensation practice.Emphasis on professional and business development.Low turnover, collegial, and collaborative environment.Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, life insurance, and disability insurance.Competitive compensation, 401k, and profit-sharing.Paid primary and secondary caregiver leave.Pre-tax commuter benefits and wellness programs.Hybrid in-office/remote role.
