The ideal candidate will support the firm's practice by advising clients on employee benefits and compensation matters.Duties:Provide legal advice and counsel on employee benefits and executive compensation issues.Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, executive compensation plans, and benefit plan documents.Conduct legal research and analysis related to ERISA, ACA, and other relevant regulations.Assist in compliance audits and internal investigations related to benefits and compensation matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and departments on complex legal issues.Represent clients in negotiations and before regulatory agencies as required.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.2-6 years of relevant legal experience in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation law, preferably within a law firm setting.Strong understanding of ERISA, ACA, tax implications, and related regulations.Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Preferred Certifications:Certification in Employee Benefits or Executive Compensation law (e.g., CEBS, Certified Specialist).Skills:Legal research and writing proficiency.Negotiation and contract drafting skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Client relationship management.Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
