Your Role: Inspire Young Minds : Create and implement engaging, hands-on math & science lesson plans that incorporate the natural environment, encouraging curiosity and a love for learning in your students. Foster a Love for Nature : Use our beautiful outdoor setting to teach children about the wonders of nature, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Holistic Education : Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child, recognizing and nurturing their unique strengths and interests. Community Engagement : Build strong relationships with students, families, and the local community, creating a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive school culture. Qualifications: Passion for Outdoor Education: A strong commitment to integrating outdoor experiences into the curriculum. A desire to teach outdoors in all weather. Teaching Certification: Valid K-2 teaching certification preferred. Experience: Previous experience teaching English Language Arts & Math, Orton-Gillingham training a plus! Creativity and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a dynamic, outdoor learning environment and creatively engage students.
