Click here (https://www.eba-d.com/) to learn more.Job DescriptionJob Description:Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Electronics engineering team is rapidly growing to support the development of Flight Termination Systems and Tactical electronics in support of Space & Defense applications. EBAD seeks a motivated engineer for the position of an Electronics Development Engineer reporting to the Product Development Lead.This role is responsible for the overall technical performance of internal and external programs. They lead a cross-functional team in all technical aspects of the program from concept through development, qualification, and production. This position is located in Simsbury, CT.Responsibilities:Providing technical expertise to verify and validate requirementsAssess and analyze technical risks, then create and execute risk mitigation plansOwn the development maintenance and coordination of technical data packagesPerform hands-on testing of electronics assemblies in a development lab environmentParticipate in environmental and dynamic testing of development, qualification, and production top-level assembliesManaging technical communications with customersLead internal Continuous Improvement efforts to increase organizational effectivenessGenerate technical reports for complex development tests and analysesRequirements:BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering3+ years of experience developing electronics components and systemsPrevious experience leading cross-functional project teamsPrevious experience performing Root Cause AnalysisExperience with safety critical Aerospace & Defense electronics products desiredEnsign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
