Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Electronic Technician Maintenance III on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX. This position is full-time but temporary. Anticipated period of performance ending 31 January 2025. Position Responsibilities: Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on military and commercial electronics and communications equipment. Responsible for identifying the necessary materials required to service and/or repair equipment; to included recording these requirements on applicable documents. Perform routine tasks following detailed instructions such as replacing components, wiring circuits, and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and specialized testing systems. Perform bench and onsite maintenance. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems using technical manuals or similar documents. Checks lower-level technicians' work for accuracy. Works under close supervision of supervisor or lead. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead. Minimum Requirements: Must possess an advance level of experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing equipment such as, but not limited to the following: AN/PVS Night Vision Devices, AN/PYQ-10 Cryptic Transfer Units, AN/UDR-13 Radiac Set, RT-153F Receiver Transmitter Radio, M150 Sight Bore Optics, PAS-13CV2, PVS14 Mono Night Vision, VDR2 Radiac set, Blue Force Tracker, Drivers Vision Enhancer (DVE), Radio Set Vehicular (Harris), SINCGAR Radios, Power Supplies, Thermal Imaging Systems and Weapon Sights. Knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as the DA Form 2404, 2407, 2407-1, 5988, 5990 and other Department of the Army or Department of Defense related forms. Must be proficient with EMS-NG, Army TMs, Federal Logistics Database, the Army Enterprise Portal (AESIP), and other Army logistical programs. 18 years of age Valid state driver's license Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position. Ability to pass a post offer drug screen clearance. Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility. Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Be able to pick up and move items within a 49-lb restriction. Must be able to function with an intermediate level of English oral and written language skills. Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
